My Sister's Closet Board Members


JoAnne C. Bunnage, IU Volunteer Coordinator, earned a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Indiana University and a Masters degree in Business Administration with a concentration in not-for-profit management from the University of Notre Dame. Her research and teaching focuses on low and moderate income families and how they plan and prepare for life after high school.

Lisa Gershkoff, Grant Procurement Coordinator, is on the faculty in the Speech & Hearing Sciences Department & Cognitive Science Program at Indiana University. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Indiana University and directs a child language research laboratory. Both her research and teaching have received funding through federal and local granting agencies.

Sheilia Goodwin, Community Volunteer Coordinator, is a PhD Candidate in Education Policy and Leadership Studies and has a MS in Community Health Nursing from Indiana University, with a Bachelor in Nursing and a Bachelor in Psychology from Purdue University. She has worked on projects serving low-income clients in the US and in Africa and has served on a number of nonprofit boards. She was an educational consultant in the area of higher education while in Indonesia. Her areas of interest are women leaders in higher education and the interaction of education and health.

Margie Goodwin Schrader, Vice President, practices law in Bloomington. She has an undergraduate degree in Religious Studies from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Sandy Keller, Board President/Executive Director, has been with My Sister's Closet of Monroe County since it's inception in 1998. She is the President of Absolute Marketing & Research, a firm specializing in qualitative research and data collection.

Linda Lamirand, Public Relations Coordinator

Maryanne Pelic, Treasurer, is a local attorney in practice for 20 years. She has an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance and currently assists with financial and bookkeeping tasks for her family business.

Tina Rodriguez, Secretary, holds a Bachelor Degree in Social Work from Indiana University and is certified as a professional in human resources. She is currently employed as Director of Administration for a local properties management group.

Sylvia Stohler, Retail Operations Supervisor, has worked in retailing and vocational education where she taught high school Distributive Education. She has an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina in retailing and has been involved in school fund raising and tutoring.

Barb Stork, Donations Team Coordinator, is employed as a Special Education teacher in the Monroe County Community School Corporation. She holds a Masters of Science degree in Vocational Education from Indiana University, with an emphasis in occupational programming for special needs learners.

Linda Klug, Voucher Agency Liaison, attended IUPUI with course emphasis in Sociology.  She serves as the voucher coordinator for Monroe and Owen Counties and is also a CASA volunteer.  She is the past president of Howard County Right to Life and served as the Taylor High School PTO Treasurer.
