About Us

The mission of My Sister's Closet of Monroe County, Inc. is to provide at-risk, low-income women pursuing employment with free workforce attire. We accomplish our mission through the use of our voucher system and the generosity of those who donate professional attire to our store. Founded in 1998, My Sister's Closet (MSC) is a volunteer run non-profit organziation offering its services to the Monroe and Owen County areas.

My Sister's Closet has a constant influx of great quality,
gently used clothing and accessories.

MSC Store

Conveniently located in the Perry Township Offices at: 1010 South Walnut Street, Bloomington, IN.
MSC Store Hours:
    Thursday and Friday 10 AM - 5 PM,
    Saturday 10 AM - 3 PM
Parking is available both in front and behind the building. We are also on the Bloomington Transit Bus Route 1.

MSC Fundraisers

Like other 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations in town, My Sister's Closet generates revenue to keep the voucher program running by relying on the generosity of donations and with a variety of fundraisers throughout the year. Monetary donations can be made online through the PayPal system and be sure to check our website often to learn more about the additional ways we raise funds for MSC:
